County Map

[edit]

If this map is acceptable and other WP:NS members show support, I am willing to create other county maps for the other counties in NS.

Any feedback on it would be greatly appreciated.

County Map v1.1

[edit]

I'm going to update the map eventually so that place names display themselves when you hover over the dot. After perfecting the Cumberland County Map I'm going to look at creating maps for other counties in Nova Scotia.

Cheers

Are you referring to the current version or my proposal? (Psyklek 01:25, 26 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]
I am refering to this map, sorry, I am not sure which came first. PS was my county map update alright? WayeMason 01:40, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your update was great, it looks much cleaner and sharper than the original I did. What resolution are you viewing the image at? I understand that some screen resolutions don't support the map. I'm trying to resolve this issue. (Psyklek 02:52, 26 April 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I am on a Mac G4 ibook using OS X 10.4.9 with Safari running at 1024 x 768, which I think is 92dpi but I dunno, its not something mac users have to worry about. I think your map idea is potentially really interesting, but if it has to be more than 300-350px wide its going to be hard to implement and it will really take over the page.... its better than the stupid community lists we have all over the place! Map

[edit]

Yeah, it just wasn't working, so I removed it. I'll find some way to replace that long, dull list. Psyklek 03:37, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
